1. DESCRIPTION
The metal deactivator is a kind of brownish red transparent liquid, prepared from salicylaldehyde and propylene diamine. It contains 20% of toluene by weight (the pure product is crystal), and has good oil solubility. The chelate complex will be formed by the product together with active metal ions, such as copper, iron, nickel and manganese, and can decrease the activity of metal ion, increase the stability of fuels, prevent from producing gum and prolong the storage duration of oil products.It will show better anti-oxidation performance when compounded with T501.

2. APPLICATIONS
This product can serve as metal deactivator for gasoline, jet fuels and diesel fuel.
The dosage is from 3.0mg/kg to 10.0mg/kg.

4. PACKING AND STORAGE
The packing, marking, transportation, storage and delivery acceptance should meet the requirements of SH/T0164. It is packed in 25 litre metal drum. Store in dry, clean and ventilating warehouses.

5. POINTS FOR ATTENTION
This product is flammable, so the packing container should be tightly sealed, preventing from leaking. Be stored in shady and cool place. During the storage and use, it is necessary to strictly prevent solvent from drying. If the crystal is separated out, melt by heating under a temperature of 50°C. It is toxic, if careless to contact with skin, rinse and wash with water and soap immediately, and avoiding inhaling vapor of it.
